After only 2 years in business, Reigning Pets NW was voted one of Spot Magazine's Top Dogs of 2009 in the pet sitting category!  We must be doing something right!

Articles 

The Bee

The Bee is a monthly publication covering the Sellwood-Westmoreland, Brooklyn, Reed, Eastmoreland and Woodstock neighborhoods of SE Portland. 

The Bee published an article entitled, "Organic Bakery Opens in Sellwood", in the September 2009 publication.  The article introduces the Cravin' Raven Bakery, which opened in July at 8339 SE 13th Avenue in Sellwood.  Along with Cravin' Raven's organic offerings for you, Reigning Pets NW offers organic dog and cat treats inside the bakery for your "best friend"!

 

American Red Cross

Robin Parker, Blog Master / Communications Specialist with the American Red Cross Oregon Trail Chapter, mentioned Reigning Pets NW in a blog post published on July 20, 2009.   

 

 Portland's Brownie Point-ers

One of our fabulous clients posted a comment on Portland's Brownie Point-ers website.  The comment reads, "Amy Frankwick of Portland... [for] being the most thorough, professional, dedicated and attentive pet sitter we've ever met!"  

 

The Oregonian

Portland's major newspaper, The Oregonian, published an article entitled, "Being a vet isn't the only way to make a living working with animals", on March 31, 2009, featuring Amy of Reigning Pets Northwest. 

 

Portland Picks

Portland Picks, a subscription-driven weekly publication offering hints, recommendations, and best-kept secrets of shops, restaurants, hangouts, products, and services in the Portland area, featured Reigning Pets Northwest in its July 18, 2008, issue. 

The Oregonian

The Oregonian also published an article featuring Amy of Reigning Pets Northwest in an article entitled, "Sit Spot with a Pet Sitter", on March 25, 2008. 

Amy of Reigning Pets Northwest was also quoted in another Oregonian article entitled, "Boarding Your Pet May Be Best", on March 25, 2008.

 

Natural Awakenings

Portland's largest monthly healthy living magazine, Natural Awakenings, featured Reigning Pets Northwest (called "Reigning Cats and Dogs" at that time) in its February 2008 issue.  The article, entitled "New Business for Pets in NW", introduced Reigning Pets Northwest to its readership.  A link to this article will be posted shortly.  Check back soon!

Fund Raising Events 

Reigning Pets Northwest participated in Boutiques Unleashed on March 13th, 2008.  We had two dogs and the only cat participating in the show,  all of them modeling our apparel on the runway with several local celebrities to benefit DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital.  Check out George the cat on the runway, wearing our Giant Polka Dot Lightweight Coat in Brights by Barking Baby!
